The lucky shortlisted applicants received a one-week rigorous and intensive training at the Business School of the Nnamdi Azikwe, University, Akwa, Anambra state, where they were also accommodated and fed.
The participants were excited about the quality of training that they have received as they re-echoed that they found solutions to their recurring business challenges, and beyond the seed capital the business training are life lessons.
At the closing ceremony of the training programme, the Legal and Corporate Affairs Director for Nigeria and Ghana, Otunba Michael Daramola, encouraged the applicants to articulate their business ideas so that those who would assess them would follow their thought process.
One of the judges’ present Bennedikter Molokwu told the applicants that the judges would be looking out for a business plan that is economically viable, and technically feasible. A plan with clear start-up details, a business with sustainability prospect, and should be situated in the eight participating states- Abia, Anambra, Benue, Edo, Ebonyi, Enugu, Delta and Imo States.
Four past winners of the programme came around to inspire and share their success journey with the applicants.
The participants were happy for such an opportunity as they are all united in their quest to succeed.
