The Nigerian women's two-person bobsleigh team made history on Wednesday, by becoming the first African team ever to qualify for a Winter Olympics in the sport.
Driver, Seun Adigun including Breakmen Ngozi Onwumere and Akuoma Omeoga, completed the fifth of their required five qualifying races in Calgary on Wednesday.
Their qualification, make them the first Winter Olympians to represent the West African nation. They will be representing Nigeria at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
The three beautiful ladies are the first ever Nigeria Women's Bobsled Team. Congrats to the ladies!!
Bobsleigh is a winter sport in which teams of two or four teammates make timed runs down narrow, twisting, banked, iced tracks in a gravity-powered sled.
